So. Here I blog.
Without going into details, I have pretty much no clue what I’m supposed to be pursuing in my life. But, I’m not worried about it. Not like, I’m not trying; not like, I’m giving up; but more like, some days it’s really hard to have any hope. Other days I’ll be on the trail of something, and things like sleeping and eating fall by the wayside. Whenever whatever this purpose comes, I think I’ll know.
I just said “fall by the wayside.” Apparently I’m turning into my mom.
Anyway, I was thinking about this while taking a walk. ‘Cause people use “path” all the time to mean your life. I usually don’t go for those overused, genralized euphemisms, but nonetheless these things spur a whole bunch of related (and unrelated) thoughts/questions. Why do people make paths? Do they naturally follow? I don’t see anyone in front of me. But someone had to be the first pathmaker. Is that me? Is it just laziness? Ask anyone, I am not lazy. Is it a natural instinct to stick to safety? Ask anyone, I am accident prone.
So I guess what I’m getting at is, where do you walk when there is no path made?
