Last weekend most of my stuff went to my next home near where I’ll be going to graduate school for the next two years. With my current apartment nearly empty, I’m actually finding it to be a relief. Over that last few years, I’ve been nursing a growing hatred of materialism, consumer mentality, and greed (the three cornerstones of one of world’s worst industries from which I am unexplanably excited to leave: retail advertising). This simplicity is so refreshing.
And it also gives me no doubt whatsoever in my choice to leave this part of my life and make a whole new one – a life that means nothing but GOOD.
